While there are many organizations where you can direct your donations, there are some additional reasons you may want to consider this foundation:

1. The general feeling is that progress is being made in OMS research. While still relatively unknown in the public, we continue to see a steady reduction in the time spans between onset of the disease and diagnosis by medical personnel. Also, consistent treatment protocols continue to improve as researchers learn more about OMS.
2. A small amount money makes a big difference. While medical research is a billion dollar business and many researchers receive millions of dollars, some specific OMS research initiatives are looking for a much smaller amount of funding to continue OMS research. Our foundation has focused on a handful of research target areas for funds we raise. Your contribution truly CAN make a difference.
3. We carry minimal overhead. Unlike big charities with large overhead, ours is minimal and all funds go to meet our goals; research, awareness campaigns, family assistance.
